TRENTON, N.J. – A Delaware man was arrested for transporting stolen goods obtained through a string of jewelry store thefts in New Jersey, U.S. Attorney Philip R. Sellinger announced today. Michael Larbi, 24, of Dover, Delaware, is charged by complaint with five counts of interstate transportation of stolen goods from October 2020 through February 2021. He made his initial appearance on Nov. 3, 2022, before U.S. Magistrate Judge Douglas E. Arpert in Trenton federal court.   According to documents filed in this case and statements made in court: From October 2020 through February 2021, Larbi engaged in a string of jewelry store thefts in multiple states, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware, which resulted in hundreds of thousands of dollars in stolen jewelry.
