CLIFTON, NJ – A woman was injured while trying to stave off a carjacker who had just gotten in her car. According to police, at around 4:45 pm, officers were called to the Sunoco gas station on River Road. When they arrived, they located the female victim with facial lacerations and numerous body injuries. After talking to the victim, police determined the woman had started warming up her car, a 2014 Audi, as she prepared to leave her job. 'He then crouched down and made his way over to the victim's vehicle, entering the driver's seat of same.
